HOOVER SIDELINERS DEDICATED TO STUDENTS

ON THE FIELD AND IN THE CLASSROOM

Dedicated. Tireless. Inspired. Engaged.

Those words and more hardly describe the impact of the Hoover Sideliners. Established in 1958 and in continuous service ever since, the Sideliners’ purpose “to serve the kids” has been the organization’s guiding light for generations.

Members come from all walks of North Canton life. They are young and old, men and women, from every corner of the community. They work together to support the academics, arts and athletic programs at North Canton’s Hoover High School.

The Sideliners raise money and volunteer their time. Their primary funding source is donations from North Canton residents and businesses. Members consider it a privilege to be entrusted as stewards of the funds and to have a voice in how it is used to the betterment of the students of Hoover High School.

Scholarships are among the ways in which the Sideliners provide support. They award six scholarships annually. Other community projects include the annual golf outing and the football program cover design contest for each season’s Viking home football games.
